This day marks the birth anniversary of **Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru**, affectionately known as “Chacha Nehru,” who believed that children are the true wealth of a nation. His love for children inspires us to create a better world for them.

International Yoga Day was celebrated by the students and teachers at KVMl school with great enthusiasm. Students of grade I and X demonstrated various yoga asanas. Warm up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing asana, the importance of these were explained simultaneously. Essay writing and Slogan making competition based on Yoga was held in the School. The celebration concluded with synchronized recitation of slogans and speech by our Principal. She encouraged students to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration.

Annual Day forms an integral part of our school activities. It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present not only their wonderful performances but also receive honours for their curricular and co-curricular achievements.
The Chief Guest Mr.T. Arualanandhasamy(South union league secretary in Tanjore) and Guest of Honour Mr.T.K.S.G.Kalayana Sundaram (Municipality secretary,Vallam) was all praise for the show. Both are congratulated the school for taking such an edifying topic which requires a quick moral action on everybody’s part.
The three–hours long Cultural Show held the audience in awe and left them enlightened as the show culminated.
The Annual Prize Distribution function was a moment of pride and honour for all the winners and achievers of the school. The students were awarded prizes in the Academic as well as Co-Curricular areas.
Vice Principal Mrs. M.Gunasundari extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and presented the Annual Report. She read out the achievements of the school – both Academic and Co-curricular and wished success to the students who could not make up for the prizes.
